Aurélien Guichard, born in Grasse — the historic heart of French perfumery — carries forward a legacy spanning seven generations. A graduate of the prestigious Givaudan perfume school, he honed his craft at leading fragrance houses, mastering the art of creating scents that balance creativity and precision. In 2020, he founded his own brand, Matière Première, becoming the only perfumer to cultivate his own raw materials, a testament to his dedication to authenticity and excellence. Splitting his time between Paris and the serene landscapes of Grasse, Aurélien’s approach to perfumery is defined by integrity and artistry. Now, he collaborates with Qeelin to guide us on a sensory journey along the Silk Road, enriching the Qeelin fragrance collection with his unparalleled expertise and passion for perfumery.
